White Mountain Labs hires key personnel
PHOENIX (Jan 22, 2007) - White Mountain Labs, the innovative leader in test and characterization of advanced technologies, announced today the addition of John McCaffrey to its Management Team.
John McCaffrey joins White Mountain Labs as Vice-President of New Business Development. His primary focus will be to identify and develop new ways to help customers get to market quickly by expanding the White Mountain Labs signature test capabilities into new directions. John brings a powerful “voice of the customer” to the WML team, because of his deep semiconductor experience of more than 20 years . His most recent role was as the Emerging Markets Product Manager for the RF Division of Freescale Semiconductor (Tempe, Arizona) where he was responsible for defining and developing new RF semiconductor products for expansion into new and emerging markets. Under his leadership, six new semiconductor products were successfully taken from the concept phase, through design, development, release-to-production and product launch to expand Freescale’s portfolio of RF products. Prior to this role, John served as Product Manager for Freescale’s Hybrid DSP/Microcontroller products and also acted as Marketing Engineer for the Digital Video Encoder product line at Brooktree Corporation (now Conexant) in San Diego, California. His background and experience is a perfect fit for his new role at White Mountain Labs.
